The Problem

Commercial airlines spend billions every year repairing damages caused during aircraft ground movements. The wingtips are especially vulnerable to these types of movement incidents. Large commercial airlines report incidents like this up to twice per month in their maintenance operations. The necessary repairs, aircraft downtime, and rebooking of airline customers can quickly drive up the costs of these damages.

Our Solution

Evitado Technologies is solving this problem with a high-tech collision warning system which can be installed temporarily on the aircraft or air tug. The system proposed by Evitado monitors the area around the aircraft while it is moving and gives the ground support team a warning if a high collision risk appears. The system is developed to move aircraft of any size in production, maintenance, or airport operation environments.

The Evitado system is a sophisticated combination of hardware and software that can be used in other industries to move large assets in complex environments. The temporarily installed system quickly and easily attaches to any asset and instantly gives real-time collision warnings to reduce the risk of costly collisions.
