The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung features Evitado Technologies participating in the newest startup hub at Rome airport

On 21 October 2022, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung featured Evitado Technologies as one of the German startups participating in the InnovationHub – Runway to the Future, a startup accelerator program initiated by and located at Rome Fiumicino, Europe’s 17th largest airport (2021).

This program attracts German startups due to its quick decision-making and uncomplicated application process. It helps startups develop prototypes at the airport, where the companies can work alongside airport experts and passengers in a real-world testing environment.

Rome Fiumicino is the largest Italian airport, currently investing in designing the future airport and is helping to drive the sector’s digital and green transition. Innovations play a critical aspect in their strategy to provide high quality services, whilst at the same time to becoming more sustainable and increase the level of safety.

Evitado Technologies is now docking in Rome and presenting the latest LIDAR technology in automating airside operations. Evitado’s ELVIZ system mitigates the risk of collisions and increases safety and efficiency whilst providing real-time data for optimising operations. “We are well integrated here,” says CEO Alex Kasinec.
